Preferred Registrar?

Hi all,

This may not be the appropriate forum for this post, but I didn't really see one that fit. Let me know and I'll repost if necessary.

Currently I have all of my domains registered through Verisign/NetSol. Some of them were grandfathered in when NetSol was purchased and I just continued the trend. I've had ongoing issues with their support, but generally ignored it. I'm beginning to consider a move, but need to make sure I make the right decision, as moves are very painful at times.

Is there a generally accepted "best" registrar or will that quest turn into a flame war between proponents of various providers? Anyone have good advice to offer? Etc...
