Default MSIE 6 Font Problem

A friend of mine is having an issue with the font siz eof her internet explorer. The font size is huge, and I mean huge. She said it's only ie that has the problem not any other programs.

Any ideas?

SURE! Seen this a hundred times.
In IE:
Go to View :: Text Size :: and Select Smallest
This should make it all small. Have a play and decide which size "your friend" likes the most.

Tried that, but that only takes it to the medium size.

Ha, ha, "your friend." Sarcasm, where would the world be without it.
