Hello,
I'm trying to verify email addresses that come from my email campaigns to special areas of my website (I'm working with an oracle DB programmer). So, here's how I see it working, but I need to know if it can be done. Also, I'm working with an oracle DB. 1. Email campaign has a link that is being sent to the website 2. This "link" gets verified on a special page then is redirected to the page it needs to be at. Now, my thought was having the same DB for the email campaign and one for the oracle DB. Whenever the email campaign link is sent to this special page, the oracle DB verifies the email address. If it doesn't match it, it doesn't get verified. The only thing I can think of is something similar like affiliate linking. For example, if I buy a product from an affiliate link, it has a special link that gets sent to manufacturers website. From there, it verifies that link. Can this work? Or am I totally off-base.
