Default Using SQL 2003

Hi

We have designed all of our sites to use SQL 2003. I realise that there a later versions of SQ which will have great enhancements. I just wondered how easy it is to upgrade. We use an excellent hosting company that will set everything up for us, but is it just a case of copying the database across or is there some important work to do first. Apart from backup

Thanks for your time.

Warm regards
Craig

Hi Crack,

I think that for your task, there should not be much difficulty to export the data to make a back up because you will need that. You never know what can happen when doing changes on your database .

Then the process of changing databases shouldnt be that hard, especially if your webhosting company is able to help you with that matter.

Thank you very much for you response. It's given me the confidence I needed.

I backup all the time, it's just too painful not to and I've been caught out before

Thanks again.
