Question cms capable of handling db import

I have a database in both xml and csv formats that I'd like to use (one of the formats) to reinvent my travel site. The db has many fields so there would the the ability to drill down country/state/city/suburb etc

SEO ability is a prime consideration

Is there a recommendation as to a CMS that allows easy import of a database?
I have access to all the usual culprits on cpanel, just thought someone may have done similar identifying exercise. From what I have seen, none have an import functionality.
Warning I know nothing about databases, so this is why I seek a simple solution

Thanks

You need to look at drupal.org | Community plumbing

Get on their forum and ask some of the experts there what modules you need, they should be able to find a solution for you.
