hi,

I have a little problem here...
Is there anyone who can solce the following problem?
In a colum there are numeric and text values (eg. 2 Books ), and i have to calculate an average of the numeric values in that column :( HOw can i split that column in two colums ( one with the numerik values and another with the text values) ??

All I can say is-
bad db schema

Datatype is your biggest enemy.
Doing it manually is probably your best bet.

Indeed, its a bad db shema but it wasnt mine, i am just a stagair :))) But i have solve the problem :) In excel i found the following menu: data-> text to columns ;) there you can give a delimiter...
After that you can import these colums in Access, and done :)
