Default Excel TRANSPOSE function

I thought I understood Excel functions, but this one has beaten me. Or maybe I am using the wrong function.

I have an Excel spreadsheet that includes various European, Russian and Greek character sets. I need to swing it round 90 degrees.

There are 28 columns and 250 rows A1 to AB250.

I need that to become 28 rows with 250 columns A1 to IP28.

Help please. I can't export and manipulate elsewhere because of the Unicode characters.

Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Excel TRANSPOSE function

It piqued my interest and frankly it baffles me too.

But why bother? Just copy and paste special, bottom right transpose.

works like a charm....you can do the whole selection all at once, or if that doesn't work just do it row by row (column by column), obviously go the '28' route since that will take less time....

Smile Re: Excel TRANSPOSE function

Hi

Thank you

I must use paste special 200 times a day and that never occurred to me. It's amazing the way a second pair of eyes sometimes sees a problem from a totally different angle.

Best wishes and thank you again.
