Sort a-z

In microsoft Access I have set up forms and tables. I want a few fields when DblClick to show the items as A-Z. In the tables and forms I have the field set to A-Z. I can DblClick and add items but the show up in the order I add them. When I open the individual tables and forms they are sorted A-Z. Please help.
