Default MySQL 4.1

Hi,
does anybody have Mysql 4.1 running under Windows and accessible via TCP/IP?

I always receive error message when trying to connect to it via localhost

The most common problem is a wrongly configured my.cnf file

Actually I followed instruction of MySQL online manual.
