Hello everybody,
I would like to learn more about the databases specially MySQL. I studied programming, spcialist with the databases, but I forgot all. now I begin serious to study it again. Can someone help me how can I build MySQL database in one of my websites? Or advices me for a good study book? I use both Dreamweaver and Frontpage to build my websites. It's like let me say a newspaper: 1- how can you build like this database in a website? 2- how can you make an archieve pages without help from a web master? 3- how can you modify it or add a pages for your website with easy way? |

You'll probably want to learn PHP (if you haven't already) in order to access your SQL database from your web site. It's generally the best way. Here's a link to a really good online SQL primer, and a PHP beginner's tutorial as well. These should help you get started. Make sure you read up on the PHP functions mysql_query() and mysql_fetch_array(), as you will be using them rather extensively.
