Default UPS Shipping Calculation - PHP MySQL

We have an online store that does not calculate UPS shipping properly. I am having trouble deciphering what logic (if any) that our ex-programmer used to design the PHP UPS calculator.

1) Is there an online tutorial on how to build a PHP+MySQL UPS calculator
2) Are there any PHP programmers out there that want to make a few extra dollars fixing this shopping cart?

p.s. We have box dimension variables, product weights, zip codes AND service variables (Ground or 3-day Select) with some pretty complex logic.

Thanks,

Rich

Default Since nobody has given you anything yet...

I'm not a php coder, but since nobody has given you any advice here yet I'll send you what I could find easily.

http://www.phpbuilder.com/snippet/do...snippet&id=576

That should give you source code for getting live UPS rates. For size calculations, you'll have to go back to your UPS book they give you and check on those. Seems like it is L x W x H / ###, but I don't remember that number off the top of my head.

Default

Can't you just use the UPS XML module off their website and parse the output?
