Default Any Real Estate Web Professionals out there?

I could really use your help. My question is regarding the MLS. Our area board of realtors is unhelpful to say the least. I have had many realtors inquire about adding the MLS to their site. From my understanding a Realtor can only use what is available through their broker. The individual I am inquiring about would like to have a neighborhood search, etc... however, their broker only has the very basic search. What can I do? Is it impossible for me to use anything besides what their broker offers? Any help would be oh so greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much.

Brittany

We have three real estate web sites that incorporate the MLS listings on their own site. Our local board provides IDX technology that is pretty slick and very affordable for board members. The MLS listings are presented minus any listing agent info so our client is the contact.

This service must be available through your board of realtors for a fee - NABOR has a personal assistant and MLS listings on their site.

Yes. I'm looking for more information than that, though. Thank you for your answer. I appreciate it. Is there anyone here who specializes in Real Estate Websites?

REALTORS who are members of their RE Board have access to the MLS and they can also present those listings on their web sites, not just those of their broker's office. That's how you incorporate the "neighborhood search" - feed the MLS search to their web site through IDX. It is simple to add and requires a minimal annual fee to the board.

Here are links to two examples of Naples REALTORs who have incorporated the MLS into their web site using IDX:
