Default Better way to manage my files

I have about 4000 MSD Sheets. THey are for automotive dealerships.

Right now i have them separated in folders by company name. What kinda of database could i use they would make them easier to access ? and also give me the availability to put them online at a later time?

4000 is not that much. MS Access would be good enough if you want to do it on the cheap. Do you have Microsoft Access?
