Wow! I think I'm over my head?

I'm a photographer who would like to create a online stock photo images for sale on the web.

I'm going to need plenty of advice and help here.
The problem is not creating the site.
The problems is image transfer and payment, setting up a code, for transfering images after payment.

I just don't know how to do that.

Since you are posting this in Database Talk I assume you want to record the orders in a database. Do you know what you are using now (for example, MS SQL Server, mysql, MS Access, etc)? Are the images stored in a database (as binary data) or as files?
