Default Thoughts on PLR Articles

I've seen a lot of references on the web lately for drectories of PLR articles that you cna buy a subscription to and gain access to a multiude of articles that you can change and then post on your site. I've also seen several different perspectives where some people think this is the best thing since sliced bread and others says re-publishing these articles is search engine suicide.

I'm in the middle of the fence here on one hand it could help me gain content to build out some sites I've been thinking of starting and this additional content could help jump start my efforts. On the other hand, I've never thought there were shortcuts to content and you needed to sweat a little to build a site and develop all your own content. Plus I really have no way of knowing whether these sites really have permission to republish these articles from the authors.

I'm wondering what the opinions on this practice here at webproworld are. If you think this is a good idea, thne please explain why and maybe evne provide some links for some reputable services that provide these articles.

Hi

Your arguing with yourself on something that you feel is wrong should tell you that your gut is right.

It's like anything else in life...I always use the fish market as an example

When you go to the fish market does the salesman tell you they have stinky bad smelling fish for sale??

No, of course not... even though you know this... the guy won't tell you the obvious.

You haven't fallen for the make $5,000.00 a day from home pitch yet...don't start no matter how well disguised ;->

My two cents.

Default Thoughts on PLR Articles

Hello bhopkins,

Quote:

Worried then check them out!!!!!!!!!???????????

It boils down to whether you think they are relevant to what you want. If it is a copywright article beware???? Public domain, no probs.

You can quote articles and in some cases need to make clear where the info has come from.

Although no sales pitch, tread carefully.

Articles should be treated with care and you should make the effort to make sure that you can use them.

Default PLR Articles

I'd agree with what's been written so far.

There are plently of good PLR article sites, though more bad.

In terms of the good ones, the killer is that the majority of members then ruin a good thing by not bothering their a***s to edit the content in anyway. This, obviously, negates any of the benefit of using these services in the best place.

Don't be put off by using them but treat with caution. Be prepared to sign up and try for a couple of weeks and don't be afraid to ask for a refund if not satisfied.

I see the subject of PLR articles popping up everywhere. Is it search engine suicide? I don't think so.

Absolute unique content is nearly impossible. With the millions of websites on the Internet, the same sentences are bound to pop up even if the author thinks he or she has written something truly unique.

The best advice is to not re-publish PLR articles verbatim, but rather make changes to the articles to match your website's subject matter.
