Selling Posts for $0.40 per post
I will register on any forum and make posts at a rate of $0.40 per post. All my posts will be over 10 words and will be good quality, not spam.
Please note that i currently can only accept payments through paypal.
if you do not trust me I will happily make half the posts before payment and half after.

Don't you think it will be spam by definition?

No, it would not. You see spam is unwanted. If a forum owner not only allowed him to register, but then encouraged him to post to their site by paying him a pre-agreed fee, how could that be spam?

That may well be the case. But I doubt it would be definable as spam.

It's called 'fraud' and 'Search Engine spam'.

Fraud? As defined by which reputable legal sources?
And can you cite any source that defines invited posts on a forum as search engine spam?
I'd like to learn more about this field.

It's not legal, it's an ethical issue.
If you don't feel paid forum posts as something wrong, so be it.

So it isn't fraud, just something you don't like?
I have to admit that I can't say I am keen on the idea, either. If a forum needs fake posts, then it isn't much of a forum.
Apparently in the early days BBC Radio 5 Live used fake calls on air. Though they didn't pay for them.

A fake presenting itself for the real thing is a fraud.

Exactly. If a forum needs a spark plug, maybe I could accept that, but not for a long time and surely not for the SEO purposes.
The issue is very old, but basically any artificial manipulation to influence search engine rankings, automated or not, is the search engine spam, regardless in what form; Forum, Blog or whatever used for the purpose. This 'tactics' is recommended in bad SEO books and often used even in this forum.

Re: Selling Posts for $0.40 per post
Some forums need a few posts to get a kick-start. Besides, I was mainly just looking for money i need.

And anyone who thinks all of the letters they read in their daily or weekly newspaper or monthly magazine are really all written by the readers is in for an unpleasant surprise!
Many, especially on controversial topics, are written by journalists and/or editorial staff.

Re: Selling Posts for $0.40 per post
I think posting in forums is similar like creating content. Forum poster create content so that visitor can enjoy or may be give their opinion on that.
Suppose if you are running a forum on Mercedes and if you appoint me to post than I will post my knowledge in new threads ...
