I make wrong decisions all the time.. Last Saturday I made the decision to go left around the log instead of right.. I did $2500 worth of damage to my boat.. *ouch*

I don't know if I'm just getting old, or finally comfortable enough with who I am, but I don't dwell on these types of things more than a few minutes before I put it behind me and get on with moving forward.. I'm too busy to worry about past mistakes, I make them, learn from them what I can, and move on.. Some mistakes take longer to learn from than others though

decisions are a little akin to pathways that you come across on a journey towards old age. If you find yourself heading somewhere you do not want to go you simply take the next path that puts you headed where you want to be.

You cannot compare a good decision with a bad decisions - that would be like presuming you knew what lay on the pathway you never took.

Take a good look at any pathway that you take.
Ask yourself will this pathway lead me to the place I want to be.
Take a look at who has taken this pathway before.
Either take it or chose not to before you find it in your rear view mirror.

And the end of the journey you will still only arrive at one single spot - my recommendation it to take the scenic route. (the scenic route encompasses many many 'bad decisions' It can be a great journey)

Having made a lot of decisions in my life, obviously, a lot of them seemed to be "bad", or at least, less than ideal. But those are the ones that caused me to learn the most, too. I might remember a good decision, I guarantee that I'll remember a bad one.

As Tubby said, our ultimate destination doesn't change...we will all end up at an exit door. The key is whether we'll have seen and done those things that we would have liked, or avoided them in favor of an easier path. Even those decisions that I (and others) may think were bad, let me experience things that helped make me who I am, and hopefully, I managed to learn something in the process and left the path behind me a little better than I found it.

Some of those decisions, I didn't realize were really good ones, until a good bit afterward. Hindsight...20/20...all that). But the REALLY bad ones, I knew almost immediately!

I look at it this way, a decision you thought was bad may actually turn out to be a good decision later on down the road. I used to look at my 1st marriage as one of those bad decisions, but now I think it was a good one. Otherwise, where would I be right now? I wouldn't have the children I have, if any, or a lot of the other things I have. Sometimes your bad decisions lead you to a much better place than your good ones would have!

Decision making power is the one of the blessing of GOD.By making one decision your whole life can be changed.My decision making power is not quick as it should be, so now i am trying to take mostly decision myself.and just learning from the wrong ones and enjoying the right decision.
