Default Did Noah Come From Mars?

Hey guys, I managed to stumble in this particular topic. It was theorized by a certain Dr. Levin.

“We can speculate that Mars gained intelligent life far in advance of Earth. A sophisticated society was formed not unlike Earth today, but a terrible disaster apparently occurred. Asteroids with the force of many nuclear weapons apparently exploded destroying many areas of the planet. The remaining inhabitants probably chose several courses of action. Many went underground to live, some may have built space ships and headed for Earth.

The story of Noah and the carrying of animals may have been an allegory of a space ship bringing animals here.”

What do you think of it?

Its nonsense. Mars has less gravity. Less gravity - less atmospheric pressure. If you have a group of animals that can live on Mars and transport them to Earth, they would not be adapted to the greater atmospheric pressure and will die.

On the other hand if it is an ALLEGORY, Noah probably wasn't bringing 2 elephants and 2 camels and two lambs, etc.
He and or he and his family/community...whatever may have arrived here and subsequent generations could have told the story the way we hear it today. Likely it is a crock, but it is a FUN crock, so I don't want to blow it out of the water!

hehe.. as what I've replied from the other thread, I do believe that Earth is the only world in the entire Universe where one can be able to live

You should not believe thinks like that!!
I think that a science people can made a wrong theory but very with good arguments from his opinion !
If you think only as arguments you may say that his right!
If you think at the idea you can tell easily if it is wrong or not with your own arguments !

We must build our arguments and must not borrow from others!!!

My father wrote this as a science fiction story in the 1960s. (Well, without the ref. to Mars, however).

In his story the arrival of the Ark in orbit brought about a change in the weather which caused the flood.

Well, you know we really don't know. Think about the experiment they are doing under France at this moment as we speak in that giant tunnel with the particles spinning around and around...until they smash together and supposedly the scientists will be able to learn more about the BIG BANG.

I just seriously hope they don't BANG planet earth out of existence. They never asked ME if they could experiment with my planet!!

Anyway, this has been fun. Did your father publish his story? Or did he just write it?
