As some of you may know, I have surfed the web and collected links since 1995


Some facts:

1. New members come to WPW asking for link exchange with no information in their profiles. I would not even think of exchanging links and link to some of them. May be the TOS / Guidelines should be changed or there should be a sticky post in addition to this that may be less relevant today than when it was launched 04-08-2005, 06:39 PM.
2. Some of them disappear after a few posts.
3. Before asking for link exchange, they should test their site with this Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page for digitalstart.net/ tool where you replace digitalstart.net with your site.
4. I persoanlly collect links in the following categories:
   
   1 - 2 -3 - 4 - 5 Where links that I regard as most reliable are put in category 1.
   
   Under construction
   
   Suspect
   
   More specific categories
   
   Uncategorized but seems interesting
5. Personally I find few or no sites of value in the Link Exchange subforum. May be I visit it one time a year or less.
