"The issues are dependent on what is important to you".

Our men and women overseas
Our rapidly falling dollar
Price of gas
Immigration
just to name a few

If you are asking who I am going to vote for, I'm going to tell you who I am not going to vote for. I'm not going to vote for a person that can't even put their hand over their heart or say the pledge of allegiance as that person is afraid of offending somebody. It's bad enough we elected a president that was a draft dodger. No matter what job that person did, in my eyes that person should never have been able to run for president. I don't know about you, but I am not going to dishonor my friends and family that have gone to war to defend our freedoms and come back either hurt, mentally screwed, or dead, by electing a person who is afraid of offending someone and shows disrespect toward our anthem and our country. If you are afraid of offending somebody on the little issues, lord help us when you get a big issue. That is just my two cents.

Proudly waves
top of pole - The American flag.
middle - POW/MIA flag
bottom - State flag

I couldn't care less who I offend by waving them.

  1. It was only a question.
  2. I know him even less than McCain and Obama.
  3. My personal favourite now is Obama.

Only in the USA could you have a guy of 80 running for the Presidents job. Nothing ageist. I'm pretty ancient myself. But it the biggest job on the planet.

The Queen has no powers. She just gets the perks of free rent, food, accomodation and world travel

If he were to win he would be 72 when he assumed office. He would be the oldest to assume the office. Before him Reagan was the oldest.

Why 'only in the USA'? - this couldn't POSSIBLY happen in Japan, UK, Germany, etc.?

It could not happen in the UK, as we do not elect our leader. Oddly enough.

Technically, we don't either, we elect electors who in turn elect the President. The number of electors from each state is calculated by counting Senators (2) + Representatives (varies)....since each state gets a base of 3, it actually 'skews' the election to give a little more voting power to less populated states. And as Election 2000 clearly demonstrated you can lose the popular vote but still win the election.

I personaly see now problem as long as his health is good.
