I'm not asking about major stuff, like filling your arm with smack, I mean a really annoying habit which always brings a Simpsons "Duh!!", but you can't seem to shake. I have one, and it's really stupid. Every day, in the shower, I rinse the hair shampoo from my hands before refilling them with shower gel, and it's sending me potty. Every day I tell myself to stop doing it because it doesn't make any sense , and every day I do exactly the same.

Okay, now I've told you mine, you tell me yours.

Nope, no annoying habits - at least not any I want to share - but yours is interesting! ;D

Hmmm. I run my fingers through my hair a *lot*, but I don't really find it terribly annoying.

Oh! When I'm sitting in a chair, I have to *force* myself not to pull my feet up under me. Like, either indian-style or just curled underneath me. I have to force myself to keep them on the floor. Now that's an annoying one! - Especially in a place like church or a restaurant, ect. where sitting like that isn't exactly the most poised or elegant. :P

I've developed an extremely annoying one, esp. if I away from home and on a computer at the library that only lets you log on for 1 hr at time.

I still, after all these years, type with one finger from each hand. I keep starting to learn touch typing but I have always reverted back to this way! It took me 3 minutes to type this, for instance.

At least I have one consolation. I use my middle fingers instead of index. I hate it when someone types with theirs. That was another minute, I am also very slow, which I find annoying too. Oh, that is a defect, not a habit.

Also, I lock the bathroom door when no one else is home, and even in my own place, I have to remember I don't have to!

I suppose it depends on which side of the door you are, when you lock it, doesn't it ?

I just spit my coffee all over the place... *snort* LOL

I swear in the car. Not as much when the kids are in the car as they are both allowed to smack my hand when I do.

I have this bad habit of scratching my neck when I'm nervous. This could be a mannerism or tic but I see it as a habit. It's annoying. Oh yes and then there is myspace. lol
