LOL thats funny!

It looks like somebody who has it in for both Microsoft and Firefox. I didn't download or play the video but the text itself is a gas.

Was very afraid when I first read that site, then realised it was all a big lie (joke).

Looks really professional though, really have got to give someone credit for that

Gotta be a spoof.

The part about virus protection being bad...

" A robust new Microsoft security architecture known as TakeOver™ helps to protect the Windows Kernel from malicious, damaging and viral software such as Symantec and McAfee products."

...may give us a clue to the motivation?

And the really funny statement about printing...

" Microsoft Firefox 2007 automatically shrinks text to abysmally small sizes, so all webpage content can fit onto a single apostrophe on your final printed page. This saves ink. "

... yeah, RIGHT!

The fact it is a spoof comes in the definition of RSS. You have to read that one for yourself. ROFLMAO

If Microsoft was really considering this, they would put it on their own site, not create a new URL doncha think?

It seems a lot of work for some Google AdSense income. Maybe a sample of the persons work for potential clients?

What's your guess on the reason for all that work?

Default i think they mean this....

haha. funny site.

i think they've got the MS business ethic just about spot on :) "Hostile sites include Google, Yahoo la la la.."

however i think what theyre actually talking about may be this... http://www.getfoxie.com

i only found it yesterday, and it pretty much turns the rubbish IE6 into Firefox 2, with a tiny little 1.5meg install. and it found 5 previously undetected threats including a Trojan in the initial install.

apologies if youre all aware already, but i think it's pretty cool.

Sure this is hoax, but can anyone tell me why FF uses 100% of computers CPU sometimes? I have heard it is a Google toolbar memory leak and also FF has issues with Flash plug-ins on websites. I tend to believe the latter. I hate IE, but after seeing this post I was kind of hoping it was real and not a hoax.

I just sent an email to the address Google listed for applying for lunar jobs, just to see what happens.

As I predicted, I got an automated response.

Here's what it said...

Quote:
Thank you for contacting Google about our Copernicus Research Center.

We've received an overwhelming response to this opportunity and are not
currently accepting additional resumes. We will, however, keep your
information on file should we have an opening in the future. At the
current staffing levels, we anticipate that we may need additional
applicants on or around April Fool's Day in 2104. Until then, we
appreciate your interest in Google and your taking the time to write us.

Sincerely,

The Googlunar Recruiting Team

What no Cheese... Google Moon Map (Try Zooming in, (click +), all the way to view what the Moon is made of)

~~~
2104 Tourists should be going to the moon a lot sooner than that...
Which will Search Engine Servers be first on the Moon (Talk about Viral Ads), MSN, Yahoo, Google, or other?
Viral marketing and jokes:
The Norwegian meta SE, TwingGine started as an april first joke and got a flying start. It was named
yagoohoogle and got a lot of attention in European and US media.
