A Better Wikipedia?

Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger unveiled the Citizendium project this week.

I'm curious to see if this endeavor will actually gather steam. Trying to assemble a team of expert editors and contributors for a project is daunting in and of itself, but these people aren't being paid.

Will they review entries regularly?

Do you guys think this project stands a chance of getting off the ground?
