OK, I have to know. Maybe someone knows someone who knows someone who knows.

Who would buy anything from 'Gesticulations Q. Breakthrough" or 'Callousing G Barnstorms.'

How do these people make any money?

Don't know, I've never heard of them. Are they anagrams?

I still don't know what Cialis is, but I get enough emails trying to sell it to me. (I can probably guess).

Debbie, maybe you don't have'em over there, but day after day I get dozens of spam - yes, cialis et al - from such names. They are funny - here are some others - Uncoupling R Beatify, Compasses P Synopsizing, Appalachians C Booting, Saniataria H Hefty - but who responds?

I would really be concerned about giving them my credit card number.

I keep getting some clown who thinks that if a spam is worth sending once its worth sending 20 odd times at the same time.

When I log on every other morning, I am greeted with "Junk Mail (65)" in my Outlook.

I guess someone somewhere - maybe 1 a million buys and that makes it worthwhile.

I used to get 100 spam emails a day. I have got this down to nearly nothing by:

Not using a 'catch all' address and just using one address (like info@) and a few others as required (webproworld@) that forward to info@. You will see that the sending address of these daft names is even dafter addresses - like aaa12353874@. So bounce all other addresses.

Then SpamAssassin (which is free) does the rest with black and white lists and setting the level at which to decide on what is and isn't SPAM. In case you are worried you reject wanted mails, you can just add a **SPAM to header and set an Outlook (Express) rule and shove them in the deleted folder and take a look. Or add a spam folder on the server and check via webmail now and then. I have had only one wrong call in the last 6 months, when a client forwarded a spam email...
