Default NoMonthlyFees - is it shut down?

Anyone know anything about the current status of NoMonthlyFees hosting?

None of my sites are up and, when I went to fill out a support ticket, their site was down, too. So I tried calling...and the phones have been disconnected.

I suppose that's a clue to me :-)

I know lots of other people have complained about them, but they've been fine for me for years. And for $70 a year, it was hard to beat.

Granted, it's only been an hour since I started trying, but I guess I need to look elsewhere and move stuff quickly.

Thank God my biggest site is at GoDaddy. I chose them because I needed the bandwidth and storage they offered for that one site, but want to look at other options that are easier to use (I like CPanel) and offer more stuff.

I don't trust any reviews I read, so who have you had really good luck with...and for a long time.

I'm gonna check with the Better Business Bureau for all recommendations but thought some of you who have hosted for a long time with someplace might have some good ideas.

Thanks,

Kendall

Default Backups :-)

Yeah, I am sooo glad I have backups of all the sites. Plus glad that most of my domain names are with Dotster, so once I find new hosting, I can upload and point quickly.

Unfortunately this situation means that all my emails are gone, including any new things sent to me.

I can always check with my payment processors about sales, but support, application forms, photos from new clients...all that stuff is gone.

Oh well.
