Default I feel really bad!

Well today is a ledgendy day as i have been band from a site.

I am still in shock, never have i been band from anywhere or anything like this.

I join http://www.abestweb.com site and said hi to people, mentioned the site post about link exchange in the correct forum, asked some questions, posted on a post about my search engine. I also mentioned i was after article writters and the admin said i was spamming and thus change everything to say burp. I was P**S but hey ok i live with it. Rules seem alot strickers than any other forum

So i continued to post useful stuff (well try), take part in the forum etc

I went back to my link exchange post (which is in the right section etc) and said that it was burf not burp) and said would it be a good idea to link to thier site (every little help both are pr5 sites)

and I was banned.

I really wanted to use this site to learn how to market my product which is my site as its a SE, and in doing that seems to break all the rules.

Well I am probably completely in the wrong etc but well first for me to be banned and very upsetting and i really though i could learn alot and offer a different view.

Oh well.

Don't feel bad. I've read your thread from there and IMO Altho you posted your URL in your first post, thats hardly a hanging offence.

It sounds like this Haiko has got a right pole up his ****! He comes across as a very angry and rude little man and where I can understand some forum rules, some of them seem like you cannot breathe without permission from at least 3 of the Administrators.

Before signing up to new forums, I always read any rules, sticky threads involving rules/etiquette and pinpoint at least a few members of different status to see what their sigs look like (If they have one). Its always better to exercise caution, just in case you come across a haiko :)

Still plenty more where that came from.

ATB,

Well when i join a forum, i am usually there because i have an interest in the forum, to be frank i cant be F**K to join a forum to spam it.

Based on my new years objects I want to market burf as a product

I usually join forums and post about me (intro which would mention burf), my name is usually Burf.com (keeps it simple for me to remember) and any services i have which fit in to a catagory (link exchange for example) i will post about. BUT I will take time to read posts, and try to be helpful an get involved.

To me, maybe old fashioned, maybe too nice, this is not a spammer.

A spammer to me (had quite a few on burf) joins, and in most forums posts a one liner saying get your pills here, or import that wife now! (lol) and then the person never logs in again.

Now its got me thinking who else on other forums thinks I am a spammer. Maybe I should give up on forums. There usually better people for the subjects than what I know, so I am not a great use.

Just feel so negitive now :(

Just to top this off. I was emailing the admin to say I thought his actions where harsh in banning me. Next I recieve a mass email from his site about offers etc

So i email him
"I am banned but still get your emails

LOL"

and recieve back

"Your banned you just posted minutes ago.

That’s it I’ve f*cking had it with your annoying ass.

GOODBYE!

Now you are banned and on my black hole list.

Haiko"

How can I of posted if i was banned in the first place. This forum seems a good one to stay away from. The admin's on something lol

I'm not allowed outside of the continental united states because the government is in fear that my sheer beauty would cause a nuclear war among the European and Asian countries.

Default actually banned from USA

I got banned from USA, actually really banned, I got deported at gunpoint from customs in LA.

I accidentally overstayed my visa one time, by a few days because I was stuck without transport in Yosemite. I did get home but then when I went to return the woman at customs got a bit funny about the few days overstay previously and wouldnt let me back in. I was tired and in a bad mood after a 24hr flight from elsewhere and whilst waiting to be body searched for my transgression, lit up a cigarette.

You would have thought I had a bomb, because 3 customs officers literally jumped on me holding guns to my head telling me to put out the cigarette.
Not truly seeing the gravity of the situation, I had a couple more drags... which seemed to annoy them....and I got thrown in a cell, deported and banned.

That was 3 years ago so I think I could reapply for entry, I would quite like to climb El Capitan. But I gotta quit smoking first. Joined a stop smoking clinic starting tomorrow.

You could find a stop spamming clinic Burf ;) you may get reentry.

This is true. Haiko and myself used to be friends, when his site was running on an iKonboard. Around the time CJ forums were closed. But then his site got all popular and then this big huge pole started to protrude from his backside and he started being very unkind. So I told him to stick it. I haven't been back to the stupid site since.

Gee chandrika, I think I'll view you in a whole different "light" now..

They are harsh at customs in USA , poor guy, a comb (shaking head)...although... a comb can be used as a deadly weapon, didnt you ever read Snow White, where her evil step mother made her brush her hair with a poisoned comb? I wouldnt trust anyone with a comb. ;)

(ps..no I dont think you spam Burf)

chandrika,

Yes, the pun was on the word light. I originally didn't have the word light quoted, but I suspected that no one would get it, and not see that I was joking. So I put it in quotes, re-read it, stared for a second and decided that everyone would now get it. lol

Also regarding being banned. I have been banned by heaps of forums, because I have a chip on my shoulder about people starting on me. I should go and seek help I guess. I am like a little Mogwai (Gismo off Gremlins). And then as soon as someone rubs me the wrong way, purposefully, for no apparent reason other than to be mean, nasty and spiteful, I grow fangs, my ears prick up, I get tunnel vision and become like Stripe -- The head Gremlin.

The more people there are, that jump on the original (nasty person's) band wagon, the bigger my fangs grow.

I also have a huge problem with being "told what to do". Unfortunately, I never grew out of it when I was 12. So, when someone TELLS me to do something, as a demand, they can get 10 blokes, and push and shove me, twist my ears, give me chinese burns and poke me in the eyes and I wont budge!

I was 86'd from a bar in Arizona once. No big loss, it was a country-western bar.

chandrika, that wasn't one of those wacky-tobaccy cigarettes was it? They frown on that kinda behavior at US customs. [[[smiles]]].

That is pretty bad treatment from a Mod, no doubt about it.

But...
if I remember correctly, Burf, you were red-flagged when you joined this forum. :) lol

I forget exactly why, although I believe one of the reasons was your username. Anyone that joins a forum, by creating a handle the same as their domain name, is going to get flagged, for sure...

No I dont touch anything like that, but funny you say it, because they did test me for drugs and also asked/accused me of being on drugs.

I guess if that is how they had seen me, then that would explain why they did like they did. I was tired and had red eye. I had travelled all the way from India, via the middle east, maybe that had something to do with it too who knows.

Anyway its not an issue anymore, they did me a big favour really. I was going back to Venice Beach where I was working in a hotel, I would probably still be there cleaning up other peoples stuff if it werent for those customs people, instead I got into the internet and website design which is a way nicer to a make a living. So alls well that ends well.

lol, yes its key to business success, try walking funny as if there is something in your shoes, or put a loudly ticking cuckoo clock in your hand luggage as you go through passport control and you will be on your way to financial freedom in no time.

rofl.. yeah, and you can trust that chandrika knows what she's talking about. She's the only WPW member who has ever been jumped by three security guards at an airport.

She's also the only person I know that would continue to puff on a cigarette as she'd being tackled to the ground :)

Hmm I dont think I could carry a person and a massive clock too far.

Do you think they would let me through the metal detectors without puttin the clock through the xray machine?

I wounder if the xray machine would effect a human?

You're all picking on me! I'm leaving! Stupid idiots!

I know what you're all "really" getting at!

I'm not stupid you know!

I can read between the lines!

And by the way, I do not wet the bed!

I haven't done that in weeks now.
