I have to stop eating while I am reading these posts. You and a few others are responsible for dozens of monitor spatterings! And if I ever stop appearing, it will be because I died laughing, and choking on my bagel lol

Spatter the monitor? Not on Sophia, I beg you ;o))

Wen, wen, wen, oh when!
Will you ever learn.

If yesterday's now,
and tomorrow is then,
We're not ghosts 'n' monsters!
We're just silly men. :o))

Having alpha-waves like jello,
Getting henpecked now and then
Still it's to much fun here,
See ya here again 'n' again!

Default Today is today and tomorrow is never!

Though I thought of posting this yesterday, but reminded by the Moderator that it is still today & still it is, so postponed it to tomorrow. Yet it is only today, so just cant wait until yesterday to do so, so I did it by posting it tomorrow. Ooops, is it still today?

Someone in other forum wrote that she “will go out and make every one mad”, just to prove her point. But the real point and threat is posted in this thread; and that too without any warning! And the warning about the Ghosts that never existed that exists here.

Quote
Oh My Goodness!!! I've created a monster!!!!
wenwilder

W(h)en (things gets) ‘wilder’ – certainly there is a remedy. The monster is not out there but seems within! Follow these simple rules (oh, not framing from the forum).
1. Stop reading blonde jokes.
2. Sleep at least for six hours a day
3. Avoid excessive TV and commercial viewing
4. Ask the WPW team & members to offer a prayer for….ere,,, to kill the monster…
5. Totally avoid the company of the ‘men of jokes’ and jokers
6. If none of the above works – consult Minstrel & his team for guidance…medication…treatments etl.
7. OR just
Simply ignore everything above and be happy as Most of the Great personalities think the way as you do!!

Compliments for this thread that spread something…):-
Best wishes,

I've tried that! It's immune! It can't die! Try a stake through the heart or a silver bullet! Where's buffy the vampire slayer when you need her? ;)

I am glad to see new people posting to the thread though.... so.... maybe.... it shouldn't die just yet ;)

Default Think, think positive, Live & let live!

Even a dog has full eight years of life. And what is for the Monster? Whoever wants to kill the monster, it is okay. But to kill this thread...mmm… they need to go to Physchlinks! I am counting the pages...one, two, three.... twenty, Sophia Loren…and so on; it will go beyond that to make a record, A record in Guinness Book.

Who knows, may be it is by tomorrows’ yesterday or even today’s tomorrow!! This is only a break room. And it should not break. Let the thread mill around the globe to see its own tomorrow.

Yesterday is a dishonored cheque, tomorrow is a post dated cheque and today is Cash on Hand! Enjoy! Some people ruining their life - the perfect today; by thinking about yesterday and worrying about tomorrow.

Best wishes,

Speaking from experience, once you hit 21 it seems like a big deal but when you hit 25 you realize that it wasn't, that it still seens like things are pretty much the same.
So you start thinking about what happens at 30, but that turns out to be even less of a an event.

Now 40, you think, THAT will be just awful, ....
NO! You still feel like nothing is any different than at 21!!! lol

You are the undisputeded 'one of the great thread killers of all time', hands down, but while you were away being a web designer/developer, folks here have gotten a lot more sphisticated at 'thread life support', and you need to brush up, FAST! You are showing a little rust, I'm afraid. lol

WOW! I was wondering why the forums have been so light lately. Now I find you guys have a been in here talking about yesterday, today and tomorrows. (God willing)

Of course I don't know what you talked about in between, cause well... I just don't have the time read 21 pages of posts.

Besides, if I did, I would have started yesterday which would have been Cindy's (Matauri) last week, and would not finish until next week which would inevitably be everyone’s next month. Dang this is confusing! And then I would be a few yesterdays behind on everything else because you guys would have gotten bored of this by then and would have filled up the rest of the forum with more good stuff. Then the vicious cycle would start all over again.

I think I need to cut a couple shots out of my Starbucks drinks in the morning...

Default Teen ends at twenty !?

Well, this thread approaches its natural end it seems. So none to bother about what is after twenty ...and quite surprising, everyone forgot to count after twenty, after seeing the top post in this page. Attraction or distraction?

Anyway, this is a break room discussion, so leave it to other ones who catches it in the last. Mad magazine would have honoured the top slipper; And concerning me, not knowing to count after twenteee...

Wenwilder wrote:

again,
Sonnie, ejrsdotcom, welcome to the mad house! It's nice to have fresh faces in here ;)

Atleast, the coverpage has some relevence to the thread, Yes-terday, today & tomorrow.
wen, in her welcome note, knowingly or otherwise, revealed the motto of this thread!!

My Lord, pardon me for poking my nose in this house and counting wrongly - but at a right place.
Best wishes,

Got me? You had me at hello, you had me at hello...
Oh wait, that was a girl movie. Disregard that! Oh well, I'm off to lunch and another Starbucks refill.

Wish me luck... 5 or 6 shots in this one, hmmm...

OK,

By a process of elimination, I have concluded that it takes 25 posts to break a page. This is post 25 for page 21...

So I should be there, right?

Congrats Scott on starting page 22 of the thread that just won't die. Now that you've accomplished your goal what are your future plans for this page?

Will it be intelligently coherent advice we've come to expect from you or.... endless insane dribble that we all apply when replying to this thread? The choice is yours! Just remember to not let power go to your head! We're all your friends and confusing us....... only makes us smile and/or laugh! ;)

Once again, congrats on a job well done :) Now will you switch to decaf? :p

A wise man once said, "The answers to any question can be found in a single grain of sand."

I say, "The answers to any question can be found in a strong cup of Java!"

So the choice is yours; you can go stare at the ground, or get a nice warm cup of Mocha Java from Starbucks.

I vote for Starbucks.

Either way, eventually you will find the answer you seek. Or you can just wait until tomorrow, when my caffeine rush wares off. :o)

Not to bad.

To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wildflower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour. ~ William Blake

Someone's even been inspired enough to buy the domain name... nice photos!

"A truth that's told with bad intent
Beats all the lies you can invent.
It is right it should be so;
Man was made for Joy and Woe;
And when this we rightly know,
Thro' the World we safely go,
Joy and woe are woven fine,
A clothing for the soul divine."

You cannot read Blake and not be inspired :)

Thank you for sharing that Paul, LOVED the site! It's amazing how elegant simple can be. Guess I'm not a bells and whistles kind of gal ;)

Wow! Even on a caffeine high I can inspire. That is way too cool...

It takes me back to Seattle, where the real coffee houses had stages and poets; and really, really good coffee.

Oh well, off to Starbucks for a battery. (I mean coffee) :o)

Oh Paul, cool site; thanks for sharing.

PS. Missed me Mik; better luck next time. :o)

Whether on Ida's shady brow,
Or in the chambers of the East,
The chambers of the sun, that now
From antient melody have ceas'd;
Whether in Heav'n ye wander fair,
Or the green corners of the earth,
Or the blue regions of the air,
Where the melodious winds have birth;

Whether on chrystal rocks ye rove,
Beneath the bosom of the sea
Wand'ring in many a coral grove,
Fair Nine, forsaking Poetry!

How have you left the antient love
That bards of old enjoy'd in you!
The languid strings do scarcely move!
The sound is forc'd, the notes are few!

William Blake.

One of my favorites :-)

Default Turn to forty?

Mikmik,
Thanks for correcting my phrase. Really now it ended with Loren and continues with more....

Wen! Oh, when, this thread will attain 40? To see another beauty; as it seem it turns once in a twenty!
God saved me from the page number confusions, atleast, as for now.

From today to tomorrow, now everyone looking the grain, sand, pole and to the post! Great, everyone accuses other for continuing and still posting; and wisely.
Best wishes,
TRS Iyengar

I'm afeared that we're going to have a page 23.

Although, cyanide, in his infinite wisdom pointed out the fact that..... if I'd quite posting the thread might die. BUT, thankfully the true fun, of the thread, is watching all the new faces jump in and keep the thread alive. ;)

Talk to Scott about coffee he seems to know where to get the best! And he knows how to use it!!! Maybe he could give you some pointers.

As for letting them past you.... well, you're forgiven this time, but next time...... :p

Mik you help Julian search Scott, I'll keep an eye on you and Rocky. Boy can't leave you guys a lone for a minute! Even when I'm around you're sneaky! ;)

Well I just have to sneak in on occasion and make sure you guys are doing your part in keeping this thread alive! What with school and all, there's simply not enough time to watch you all the time, and I ain't gonna tell when I been watching either!

But.... believe it or not, I came about this ~~> <~~ close to writing a Speech on Jello and EEG's tonight! Only problem is, we aren't supposed to research this one, and I don't think I could pull it off without it at least looking like it was researched. However................. we got one coming up in another week or two that we are supposed to research, and I'm probably going to be the first individual in ND if not the world to give a speech in college speech class on Jello and EEG's.

SO! I need your advice Wen..... How did you say you typed whilst wearing them fancy jackets with the arms that tie in the back?

I'm intrigued as to what it is exactly that Scott is doing with his coffee that I'm not! :o) I would love to know "the correct use of coffee" - if Scott is reading this, just PM me mate, if it's a bit personal okay? ;o)

Say typed??? I think we can safely assume that high dosages of caffiene were involved Rocky! Haven't you noticed that many of Wen's "wennisms" occur during a heightened state of caffeine stimulation?
Caffiene is the most widely used psychoactive substance (as our dear Wen is testament to). However caffiene doesn't induce the release of dopamine in the shell of my nucleus accumbens (like it used to) but instead produces a release of dopamine in my prefrontal cortex. How about you?

Attempts at staying awake through the use thereof have become useless... I've found that after a pot or two I'm still ready for a nap! Probably has something to do with sitting up playing on WPW at 2:15 in the morning, when I have to be up showered, shaved, and on my way to school by 7:30 in the morning! Likewise speech writing and late hours got in the way of the second you, How did you say you typed........ ?

AHa! That my dear Wen, is where you are wrong. It is not how much coffee you drink, but the quality of the coffee. Drink too much, and you'll find yourself spending way to much time in the restroom.

But one good cup of strong black coffee with a triple shot espresso shooter, and you're set for a long days work.

I don't know who has Starbucks in running distance (by car will do) but some of my favorites are:

Caffè Americano
Espresso and hot water
Caramel Macchiato
Foamed milk marked with espresso, vanilla and real caramel
White Chocolate Mocha
White chocolate flavored version of our classic Caffé Mocha
Caffè Mocha
Espresso, cocoa, steamed milk and whipped cream

Well for those of you that don't have a Starbucks in jogging distance, or like myself even within reasonably sane driving distance, (I gotta drive 65 miles for a Starbucks!), might I suggest you visit our fellow WPW member at DC Coffee Products. He's got everything you need there to do your own Starbucks thing in the kitchen, or the garage if you really want to get carried away on the coffe shop thing.

As for me... Only a pot a day! Of course that'd be tough too with that fancy jacket!

Coffee shops have become more important than changing your socks - I don't see the attraction though. I like a good butterfinger latte' now and then, don't get me wrong, but everyday? I'd be bouncing off the walls on a daily basis. I already drive people nuts! ;)

Oh, and Rocky, you type with your nose when you wear one of those jackets with the huggy arms. ;)

Hey, who told you about my socks?! And what are your doing smelling peoples feet anyway?

And per Rocky's comment, if you are wearing one of those nice white jackets, you are most likely in a padded room anyway; so I say drink that coffee. Your portected!
