Operation Viola was part of Operation Ore, the national enquiry sparked by credit card details of 7,000 UK child porn users obtained by the FBI. In the Thames Valley, police seized 750 computers, 14,000 floppy disks and 5,000 CDs and prosecuted 115 people.

And, only "200 suspects were interviewed."
That survey base would represent less than 3% of total users per credit card details as indicated, and thus would reflect in all probability, statistical data from one police precinct, local origin of the surveyor, or a small select period of time in the sting operation, at whence those in that particular region and profession where being targeted by the police.
The article is therefore misleading, and appears quite likely biased for some reason or other.
