Re: USB connecting problem
Try connecting the pen to another USB port. It is possible that the port you are using has "locked" to another connected device, or there may be another problem with that port. I would first suggest connecting the device to a USB port on the back of the computer, as these are generally hardwired to the motherboard. Sometimes the front USB ports are not all connected or connected properly. I have also seen cases where an internal fan has damaged the wires running from the front USB ports to the motherboard.
If the problem persists when connecting to another USB port, try connecting the device to another computer. This should tell you if the problem is with the device or the computer. If the other computer does recognize the drive, you may need to reinstall the drivers on the original computer, or try additional troubleshooting to find the cause of the issue. If the other computer does not recognize the device, it is possible the thumb drive itself is damaged.
