Default "Heil Hitler" "Sex" and Other Not So Subliminal Messages

Recently I was watching a gum commercial on TV for Squirt Gum. At the end of the commercial there is a scene where the waves in an ocean are crashing against the rocks. Good place for some subliminal seduction I thought. No sooner had I thought that, I very clearly heard: "sex"...whispered ever so softly...lol..."gotcha" I thought. Pretty obvious when you're looking for it.

In the movie The Ten Commandments, I was watching Moses very closely when he came down the mountain and held up the two tablets about to smash them down. I recalled being told that he was suppose to be wearing a wrist watch.....he wasn't (it was some other movie: Ben Hur perhaps). But because I was so focused on picking up this lack of continuity (I think is the phrase) I happened upon something more diabolical. Just as Moses is about to throw down the two stone tablets, in discust over the partying idolaters dancing around the Golden Calf, the music, for no apparent reason goes silent....the reveling is still going on but the music fades...unnaturally.....then as sure as I'm writing this we hear the whisper..."heil Hitler". "Wow" I thought, I wonder how many people know about that. I was looking for a wrist watch and got Hitler. Since the Ten Commandments I was watching was a rental from Blockbuster I can only assume that all videos of the Ten Commandments are the same.

Anyone have any other experience with so called subliminal messages?

Rick

not really, but I think that most of the commercials they place on air nowadays have a lot to do with sex. Well its one great way to attract viewers anyways. About the ten commandments, I will surely be checking it out.
