Default Would YOU sell your "true confession" story to make money?

There's a new agency opened up in the UK. It is operated by a former tabloid newspaper journalist.

The link to the story is Thats News: Sell your story - make £5,000

Selling stories and making money is all very well. It can bring a good income. It can also bring problems, too. And the kind of fame you might not want.

Would you sell your story?

Any publicity is good publicity - we at CTAB were featured in The News of The World when we exposed the City Mortgage Corporation fraud. I could do a story on how it was me that crashed Nat West -And that is true!!

Would I sell 'my' story? I am hoping to live a life that would be worthy of a movie, but alas - suburban doldrums wouldn't be too interesting of a topic.

At present, I unfortunately do not have any stories worth 5,000 pounds....

I work as a journalist and could have got a friend a considerable sum of money for her story. She was expecting twins and her husband ran off with her best friend. Who happened to be a Lesbian. (Or so she claimed -and as she'd had girl friends, we all knew she was a Lesbian.)

But she -wisely, I feel, now- turned down the opportunity to make money by selling her story. But that payment could have helped fund cots, etc., for her twins...

Good for you!

You could use the Nat West story. Maybe send it to an IT or finance magazine?

there are certain stories in our lives that we want to share to the world. its either to express something out, let the whole world know something or earn. of course one would want to share stories and earn at the same time. but not all stories I guess...
