Ligers - proof postive that zoo keepers are perverts - 'Hmmm, gee, I have a good idea, let's take the tiger and put it in with the lion....' - ugh

YES, it could happen in the wild...but today the natural ranges don't overlap and even when they did, it would still be extremely rare.

Tigers in India Lions in Africa.

Yep. Very difficult for it to happen in nature...

Probably what happened was:

"Oh, my God!" I told you to keep that gate locked shut! That lion is gonna eat that poor tigress! I can't look... he's gonna pounce on her! oh, no, she doesn't stand a... What the ^&%$!!!! Gee. I never expected that. He pounced all right, but... oops!"

they really do exist. I believe most of the offspring are sterile and if it were to actually occur in the wild, the poor beast wouldn't survive very long because apparently the growth inhibitors don't get passed along (or something like that), so it just keeps growing and growing beyond its ability to hunt, which of course isn't a good thing.

All ligers do is lie about tigers.

They need to keep their mouth shut.

They just keep lyin'.
