What is the SEO value of having your name in 'last posted'
Evidentally, certain people are replying to threads that are over, thus getting their names listed on the front page as the last post.
Are we going to allow this?

But I think you're missing the point. The threads not only have to be dead, they also have to be sticky. (I know you'd never do such a thing, but there are those who would). Never let your left hand know what your right middle hand is doing !

Well, the last link on a page is the least likely to be clicked, and therefore, receives the least "link love" or PR. Further, unless the topic and the forum is related to the content of that link, the value of a link from this forum is just about zip even if it were at the top of a sticky with good PR. If you see any that are really egregious, let me know. |
