sorry kgun,... but I had to go check with Google Earth to make sure things hadn't changed and that I was remembering correctly... some maps do not show Maine as sticking up there as far as it really does.

Continentally speaking, Maine sticks out on the north east border to claim the most northern and eastern state and California bulges/curves out to claim the most western area while the southern tip of Texas extends into the gulf reaching the farthest south of the southern states.
