Paid Blogging & Blogosphere Ethics

Ok so, now even more services are popping up to pay bloggers for their input/reviews of products from advertising sponsors.

This seems like bad news in every conceivable way. It hearkens back to Payola and record companies paying DJs to keep certain artists and records in heavy rotation, as the TechCrunch article also suggests.

What do you guys think? Paid Blogging, good or bad?
