Default Frank Miller's 300

I saw the trailer to Frank Miller's 300 last night and have to say, it left me feeling pretty excited. Anyone who enjoyed Sin City (with the computer-generated backgrounds) will want to take a look at this. At times the acting seems a little campy, but the there's no doubt the trailer is visually stunning.

For those who don't know, 300 is Frank Miller's graphic novel about the battle of Thermopylae, the mountain pass where a band of 1000 men, (300 of the king's bodyguard and 700 Thespians) held off the entire Persian army.

See the trailer here.

according to wikipedia,

Thespian may refer to a citizen of the ancient Greek city of Thespiae

so yeah, actors are correct. :)

Watched this trailer last night. I was very impressed.

The guys over at solaceincinema.com have done a comparison of the graphic novel to the movie trailer, much like filmrot did for Sin City when it was coming out.

It looks like this is a frame-for-frame adaptation of the graphic novel, below is an example.

Here is the link to the comparison
