Default WebProNews on /.

I don't know if anyone else saw it, or not, but a WebProNews article made slashdot the other day.

A funny comment to come out of it.

I'm really starting to agree, Keith. When I first heard about Digg, I was turned off by the comments. Slashdot has its trolls and morons, but after a little while, the moderation works and you get some great insight from visitors.

On Digg, I just kept seeing "me too", "no digg", and one line posts that added nothing to the story. On /. the comments have come to be almost as important to me as the stories.

However, Digg gets bucketloads of great submissions constantly. Stories hit Digg several days before they make /. (if they ever do). Also, /. editors have always come accross as knobs.

So for now, I'm spending about equal time on both, but if Digg and /. both keep going in the direction they're headed, I think /. will find itself replaced. Not just for me, but for the millions of visitors they currently take for granted.
