Default Sony Postpones PlayStation 3 Release

Well, I guess us gamers out there will have to wait even longer for the release of the PS3. It was first said it would be released this spring (with a price tag ranging anywhere from $500-$900, I had heard from different places.) Now it won't be until November. Thankfully I have my Xbox360 and PSP to keep me busy until then.
Read more about it here...

Oh yes. Very sweet! I very seriously doubt I will be able to afford the price tag if it's in the range I've heard it will be.

sony will most likely do like the PSP and sell it at a loss... somewhere around the $599 price tag, from what i've heard. however, they will more than make up the difference on PS3 games, which are marked-up to an exponential degree.

I like my PSP, don't get me wrong. But, there isn't many titles out there that are worth buying.

PS3 is going to be very exclusive for a while. Sure the graphics look amazing and all. also the xbox will be implementing HD-DVD when they are ready for it. That will be later this year probably.

Also, that boomrang of a controller for the PS3 is just crap.

Oh well, thankfully PC games are lightyears ahead of consoles anyway! Better graphics & power etc. I'd never buy a console, i've got a PS2 but that was given to me as a gift. Only games I like playing on that anyway are Need for Speed Underground and Timesplitters.

I agree Keitho, those PS3 controllers do look shite! I recon that the PS2 controllers are the best.

They're the best evolution of the SNES controllers. Pretty much the same exact design with a few extra buttons...

That nintendo controller looks very simple but then again sometimes simple is good. The best controller I think i've ever used was a madcatz controller for the xbox.

its not called Revolution for nothing. I just wish they'd give some details about the games. i'm looking forward to the ability to download catalog titles from SNES (Chrono Trigger!). I'll probably buy 2 of these consoles but not if 1 is over $500 (looking at you Sony)
