Sticky Effect - webproworld Addiction
Hi All
I am trying to understand, why do I visit webproworld every day without a fail. If I had more time over the weekend, I would too!!
- what are your reasons for visiting the site?
- Do you feel this is becoming like an addiction?
- How long have you been visiting the site? and How often?
In My case, I have been visiting the site EVERY DAY over the past 6 months. I do feel I am addicted to checking new posts every hour if not less. Am I losing my mind here? :P
Thanks
Tala

Nope, unless I am too! I check it more frequently than that! Stops me from going mad when there's not a lot to do at work. It's actually helped my addictions as I use it to keep my mind off wanting to smoke as i've recently quit smoking.

Hi Junior
I have been visiting this site every day since mid-September. It doesn't help that Page One is setup as the default page on my browser (pc and laptop).
Am I addicted? Oh yes.
Still its better than being addicted to the Steve Brrokstein forum. At least being addicted to this one is productive.

I had a look at the site..and read this..made me laugh:
Do not use self-hypnosis with (a) serious, long-term mental illness <-- how would you know if you had it? and would you be reading that page if you were? lol
(b) or if you are a loner with "spacey" or peculiar ideas. <--- how would you know if you had weired ideas? ;)))
come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn - do I really need that site.. haha

Shanes alright but Journey South was better.
All meant in the nicest possible way (just slightly cheekier) ;)

Of course I check up on the WPW going ons, current argumentative posts and over-weight threads everyday. I only wish I could subscribe to the forum categories that interest me so I am notified through email whenever a new post is made. It would make my life a lot easier in contributing if I could pre-read the posts in my in-box. HighRanking.com has this available.
None the less, I enjoy the WPW community highly.

I agree with incrediblehelp - it would be nice to have that added facility. By the way, is there an option where you can get an email notification if someone replied to your post?

This option is available but doesnt seem to work for everyone (like me). Go to edit profile > preferences to enable it =)

RSS feeds (per forum) woud be better. I already get ~1000 mails per day ...
RSS is not so intrusive.
