Anyone written any articles?

Hello all
Has anyone got any SE, SEM, SEO type articles that you have written that i could put on my forum (later i will be adding a articles area to Burf.com)

Obvisely a link back to your site and your name should be on each article.

Hello Burf,

You are right on in using existing articles of general interest to promote your site. When presented properly it promotes your Site and the article author’s site (great mutual endeavors there!). You are welcome to use mine:

The Google Jagger Update – What Happened?

Before you use my articles or any others, I want to give you a tip on how to usurp the original article in SERP though:

Post Bourbon and Jagger… If you provide a couple paragraphs or so of poignant commentary containing appropriate keywords and phrases when introducing existing articles you will most definitely defeat the dupe content filters and rank higher in SERP, many times beating out the original author and many of the existing SERP.

That is a serious post Bourbon/Jagger tip… Try it!

I would also like to note that you really don’t have to ask permissions, as long as you administer attention to copyrights by acknowledging proper authorship and paying due respect in linking on just about any published article you find of interest and value to your site.

It’s all about relativity and a variety of linked text these days!

Any time you provide both unique anchor text and "surrounding text" it helps both your Site and the original author's, even when you blow them out in the SERP!

Well thanks for the great info and i will add your documents to either my blog or forum (unless you would like at http://www.burf.com/forum/)

I would really like to build up a nice list of article to just benefit people I know, clients, visitors and friends.

I want to now focus burf.com more on Search Engine marketing and optimisation (even though it does not follow the rules)

Please PM me if there is anything i can use to pursade you to add the articles.

Do the articles have to be SEO-related?

Business articles are great too, as for proper credit, do you want a link back to your site, the article or what.

I will be adding them articles that people offered soon to the site, I will make sure there is a link back etc and like to thank everyone.

p.s, I did try the other forum but then got pointed to another forum.

Burf, feel free to check out my signature. There are quite a few marketing oriented articles on the site that are free-to-reprint. We even have RSS feeds for every category to make it easy.

Everyone I am now starting to add Articles to the forum

Have 3 catagories

SEO / SEM ones
Technology
Misc

So if anyone does have spare time as it could take a long time to get though them all, please help by adding your docs
