The only time I get my WPW crown (top posting status) seems to coincide with a huge snowstorm. If I'm snowed in, I need some kind of social fix so I turn to WPW.
Being Michigan, I'll be posting more soon I'm sure...

Mmm we're meant to be in for a bad winter.
Tho I daresay it will be nothing in comparison to the snowstorms you get on your side of the pond ;)
Famous last words. :?

I live in a unique snowbelt area - our close proximity to a great lake (Lake Michigan) causes what we call "lake effect snow". It can be absolutely relentless or we can have small amounts that are manageable.
One year we had 56 inches of snow in a 24-hour period and then another 36 inches fell two days later. In the winter, our best friend is our Cub Cadet snow-blower. :)
WPW is a great way to beat "cabin fever" during snowstorms (not to mention keeping the curtains closed).

I'm glad I don't qualify
I'm glad I don't qualify for the top posting memebers any more. I got tired of having my name in first week after week. At one point, I think I was up to 300 in 10 days. I know I maintained over 100 for about a month.
What a load off not having to bear that crown. ;-)
Brian.

You may be in need of a support group. LOL.
Really, I only come here when I feel like it. Ok, so that's about a dozen times a day... but still.
Brian.

Well I know I am not a top poster. I only post when I have nothing to say . . But feel like saying it anyway.
I met a man watering with a bucket. I asked him 'Why not use the hose' he finished the bucket before he answered, he placed the bucket upside down on the lawn and sat on it. then he rolled a cigarette.
"you can't sit on a hose" he said.
I made this story up while looking for an analogy. I liked it so much that I have totally forgot the purpose for why I wrote it . . .

Sounds like you have poet in you and do not know it.
All this posting is fun, but can be a habit. Once you start it is hard to stop.

I had a poem published in China once, I was told a million copies. . But nobody understood it when written in English, I have no idea what it meant in Chinese. I never got paid, and never saw it in printed form. Poets have to be hungry to do good work. . I eat far to well to be a poet.
