i believe that was started by a guy who had a friend die in one of the 1st explosions earlier this month.

They at least deserve a few links here and there! Let's help them walk out of the "sandbox"!

We may be able to help collectively petition GOOGLE to shortcut "playtime" by providing links:

I am sure that a few high ranking American Sites would help further this cause. Not only that, there are several influential British WPW Members that may should carry one of their logos appropriately linked on their Sites to show support.

Ken - thanks for posting the link ... duh :)

I've placed some of their banners in many of my websites and they have top billing at Heres1 as one of only four active banners on the site.

You're right - they deserve to jump out of any proverbial G sanbox; I think some CTR from some other sites will help greatly "voice" our support to all SEs. Some text anchors like the one you just did - and that I'm about to click - will no doubt help; or maybe I'll just click We're Not Afraid! too!

After I put that logo on our site, my co-worker sent me a replacement graphic. It was in the same font, same look, but said "uselessgesture". He doesn't think that site is doing much other than selling merchandise.

I don't think he gets the point. I'm not afraid to tell him so, either.

It's a pretty important message that needs to be delivered on a widespread basis.

I am glad they have the resources to get it there!

At least they aren't begging for relief donations!

You know what it took me 10 minutes to put up the

on 3 of my sites... I don't care if they're selling something, good for them! I hate it when people say they won't donate because only 10% of the money actually goes to the people that need it! I think that's BS too but what can I really do about it? 10% is still better than nothing! IMHO it's just an excuse to not have to help out! ;)
