Sydney 9:01
Ah. The benefits of living down under.
We got to buy the latest Harry Potter at 9:01 and to read it during daylight hours.
So, managed to feed and clean the kids and took them to the aquatic center for 6 hours so I could read the book.
The downside is now knowing there's another interminable wait for the last book.
It was like this when waiting for Julian May's last book years ago - that was an eight book series.
Do we know how much is written of the last book yet?

Each book is suppose to get longer and longer. This probably the best I have seen in what they do in getting the product out.

As for me...
I'll just wait for the movie. It's more my attention span length. I can't even get through a post by jmiller, let alone an entire book.

I too will wait for the movie. At least I don't have to stran my eyes to see it.

None. She won't start until the publicity for this one dies down and she is no longer needed as much for the making of the next movie.

Actually, just found this in an AP article:

"I have already done some work on it and I am still doing little bits and pieces, but realistically I have still got a very young baby, so I think probably next year I will do the proper writing of book seven."

Personally, this book is the 1st that I haven't worked the release for. I had spent the previous 5 working at Waldenbooks and Borders so this felt nice not having to be on the registers or making latte's for a change.

It has been fun to watch what the following of this book has done when it has gone on sale. Here where I live they have had wall to wall people just waiting to buy the book and most dressing up in costume. One guy said he changed from Harry to an evil one just cause there was to many dressing up as him.

Actually, upon further review those posts are an entire book. Maybe I can learn to deal with all the pages in a paperback... ;-)
