Default Posture, and all that

Hi all,

well, I've been doing this SEO lark for 18 months now, and the time has finally taken it's toll on me. All this sitting down, staring at monitors, it's too much.

I spent the best part of last week on my back, in a fair bit of pain, my back is incredably tense, still, but I'm upright and back at work. (which is nice)

please please please, stand up every 20 minutes, have bit of a twist (like we did last summer), make sure your work station isn't doing you harm (do a google image search for 'correct posture', theres tons of stuff)

Sorry if i sound like I'm preaching, the problem is, the back injury which I've now got took a long time to achieve, i didn't even notice untill i could hardly walk, and gonna take long time before it's right again. If only I'd had some forethought! I wouldn't have done 12 hour days and have maybe two or three short breaks in the mean time.

Look after your selves coz nobodies gonna do it for you, and you only get one back.

check you posture one a minute and correct it when necessary, stand up every twenty minutes.

should help to avoid the discomfort i've just been through, I wouldn't wish it upon anybody.

now all i need to do is give up smoking, then i can grow old gracefully :-)

all the best, Dave

Default Walking the dig

Yeah chairs help...

Also, go out for a good run or brisk hard walk every day.. before you start, or after.
