UK General Election - Use Your Vote!
If you are a British citizen, I'm interested to see what parties you all support.
Sort of a mini General Election. Lol.
Vote away! If you are not a British citizen, please don't vote on this poll, otherwise you will spoil the results.
Thanks!
(The poll ends on May 5th - symbolic :p)

I am not british citizen, so I am not going to vote in your poll but I am little bit confused about it, so I thought may be you can explain it for me.
Isn't Conservative and Raving Looney the same thing?
Just pulling your leg, couldn't resist it. Have a nice evening.

Sorry all this post isn't about the UK or British elections its a post with a poll for the English part of the UK elections.
Why do I say that 'cos as a typical English post/poll it doesn't include two of the major parties Scottish Nationalist (in Scotland) or Plaid Cymru in Wales (both finished 2nd o/a in country) or any of the Irish Parties at all (no Irish seats for any of the poll parties)
Adbart - not having a go at you in particular but it is a typical post and would be consistant of most posters from the SE of England.

Carju - what do you expect from a conservative! They dont dare venture as far north as Scotland.
Labour has a good record of achievement across the UK, improving representation of scottish and welsh nationalism through devolution, which was opposed by the conservatives.
Also i dont think the Scots have forgiven the Tories for the poll tax - what were they thinking? We weren't think what they were thinking then and we aren't now either!

Carju1,
The Scottish National Party and Plaid Cymru are hardly 'major parties'. Surely you see that it is farsical to suggest that considering the number of MPs they have in Parliament compared to the parties listed above.
I simply put up the parties with the most seats currently, plus UKIP because of their extortionate media coverage in the last couple of years.
If you aren't planning to vote for one of the above parties, then that's fine, just select 'Other'.
So yes, this post is about the UK election.

Alex, you are a bit of a raving looney, not to include the nationalist parties, they hold many seats compared to UKIP and Looney's none.

Why thank you :)
I understand where you're coming from, but I only really meant to put in the major parties in current standing. I added UKIP because I am very interested to see how many people intend to vote for them, seeing as they are the most impressive brand-new candidate for decades. And - including the Mad Raving Looney party? - well, that was just my most amazing sense of humour, of course!

No, you're absolutely right. I miswrote it.

Here would be a better list as these all have Mps:
Labour
Conservative
Liberal Democrats
Scottish National Party
Plaid Cymru
Ulster Unionist Party
Social Democratic and Labour Party
Ulster Democratic Unionist Party
Sinn Fein
Respect - The unity coalition
then i guess you could add the Greens, UKIP and Veritas - check out their site www.veritarse.com

Yeah....... he obviously saw the light... :p
Not that I agree with Veritas though, it seems totally pointless.
I do however, agree with the views of the UKIP. The European Union is not a good idea for Britain.
Though seeing as you are a Labour supporter, you'll probably disagree with me......

Actually Politics should not be raised in forums, as for a poll, well you are only young once I suppose.
