The Register has a usual feature called The Bastard Operator From Hell. Fictional stories about a particularly evil network administrator. The guy who writes the stories has been doing it a long time; the BOFH, Simon is based on himself and his experiences as an Operator.

I had seen them from time to time but had not read them in earnest until about a week ago. It's rare that I will literally laugh out loud about anything, but these things have me roaring.
