NHL - Let the Season Begin!
Yahoo, the NHL strike is over - let the mini season begin. As my friend Mickey Redmond would say, "The ice is no place for a nervous person"!
Go Wings!

OK so now it's been cancelled again? Sorry this is a one-sided conversation, I'm losing my mind with all this lack of hockey.......

NHL Cancels Season... Does Anyone Care?
It appears that the National Hockey Leauge has canceled the season...

Personally the only thing I will miss will be the on ice brawls, becuase what other sport has fights... I guess that would be whatever sport Ron Artest is playing at the time.

I thought they were within 6 million of making the deal? I really thought the season would be back on.
Go Coyotes!

In a Detroit forum this morning, one of the players stated that the strike was over. Then an hour later another player came back on and said it was cancelled. Even the players thought they were going to be playing hockey!
Oh sheesh. This hurts.

Looks like the hockey season is going to be un-canceled tomorrow...

It's definitely crazy, but I also can understand un-cancelling it... they cannot afford to go a whole season without playing...

I agree they need to get some kind of season underway. NHL might not recover if they don't do something! Spring just isn't the same without the playoffs...

Up here in Anchorage we don't get NHL; so, it hardly matters. We do have an enthusiastically supported University team and minor league team -- the Aces
In fact, I'm going to a game tomorrow night -- tickets are $12 and it's a "kids are free" night; so, for a family of five, it's only going to cost $36 for tickets to watch an energetic University team play.

You can't even get snacks at Red Wings training camp for under $36. :)
