Away for a short while

Howdy folks...

Just wanted to drop a quick line and let yall know I'm away for possible a short week or two. You may have noticed my posts have been slim for a while, and I do miss the interaction.

Things are so busy of late, but I needed to take some time off for my #1 concern, the love of my life, my son, and his treatment. Nothing else comes remotely close. So, keeping priorities in order, I just simply can't be here as much as I'd like until things slow down a little, and time becomes in greater supply.

Meanwhile, you know you have an excellent, superb group of mods, TheWebDoctor(tm), carju1, paulhiles, Catalyst, cyanide, wenwilder, Webnauts, flood6, cbp, greeneagle, jestep, jbgilbert, and Deep13 (is that everyone?), that can hold down the fort.

For those I've been in contact offline, thanks for the thoughts, encouragement, and advice.

We'll miss you for a short while, until you return. Those who Skype with you can keep the rest of us connected. It saddens me/us that your load is so currently burdened and we pray for a swift release of burden upon your family. Also, we pray for your son, God's child too, that your son will find comfort through the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, A-MEN.

My brother's child had down syndrome. He lived to be almost four. His life was not about himself, for he didn't even have control of his head, his life was about pain and suffering. My God, how could this be? He was blind but he could hear and the sound of his mother's voice put what we saw as a smile on his face. His mother compares to Mary, mother of Jesus, chosen to bear a child with such a great purpose. What purpose could this little life have, this little life that couldn't do anything? The greatest thing of all,... Yes, the greatest thing that even the mightiest men can't do. But, this little child who could do nothing, did it and better. His life put the focus on God. No matter who came into contact with this little babe and his family, they came to know/think about God. Something people hardly ever do even though it's the most important thing in this world. Little Caleb's rewards were not recognized here, but his rewards shall be great in heaven.
