Default Earthquake/Tsunami Disaster Relief Links for Donations

I didn't expect to post so soon for disaster relief; however, as the numbers continue to mount on both the death toll and overall devastation throughout Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, and even Somalia, it is obvious that millions have been affected. Entire communities have been wiped away. There is no clean drinking water, and the death toll numbers in the tens of thousands, not to mention all of the various other animal life that is also bloating up and rotting in the standing water. CARE estimates that the disease following the disaster itself will more than double any death toll statistics. I've looked up some online links for donating -- reputable organizations, all. I've not included the Red Cross, as they have not posted any links specific to this disaster.

International Charitable Organizations

CARE International Relief for Australia, Canada, Brazil, Denmark, Germany, and France

CARE Relief for USA

Save the Children - Disaster Relief Fund for Tsunami(specific to this)

PLAN(Country) Donation Page

Southern Baptists and other Christians

Southern Baptists and other Christians can help by sending financial gifts for aid through the IMB disaster relief fund. Send gifts designated "Asia Earthquake Disaster Relief" to the International Mission Board, P.O. Box 6767, Richmond, Va., 23230 (to give online, go to the International Mission Board's website, www.imb.org, and click on "Give Now" in the box highlighting this story--or click on the link here). All funds given will go to relief efforts; none will be used for administrative costs.
