Default That Kanoodle guy...

Is it just me?

I'm typing or reading away and suddenly there he is on the left hand side of the page with that sort of bloated Jack Nicholson look, something out of The Shining, tooth first missing and then twinkling insanely...

...he's starting to creep me out.

I realize that WPW probably wouldn't be overjoyed at the prospect of their members making fun of their advertisers but I have to say... this doesn't make me want to click on the ad... it makes me want to take a tranquilizer and call my psychiatrist's private line...

Yikes! there he is again!

Not sure about youse guy's, but if I look at kanoodle guy while I'm conversing, my words suddenly become garbled. Just thought of another 'to much WPW' idea, but I get that critter in two other newsletters, AND I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING LAST NIGHT ALSO?pKJ (see?)But mat's 'last night' is one night ahead of ours
Yaarrikes!

Obviously the folks at Kanoodle haven't been here except in advertising or they'd know they should shut off the animation on the ad after a time or two, so that it wasn't quite so distracting!

Have to wonder if maybe he got smart with the gal on the phone up top there as to cause of the missing tooth. Too many faces looking back at me here!

Yarrr? Is that AE or BE spelling? ~ LOL ~

I think Yarrr is bad American Pirate move spelling - unless its Canadian -) Nope that would be yarrreh :)
In BE it would be yahh (soft pronounciation) and I think AE would be yerr. Mind you as Cindy first wrote it I suppose it could be SE (Straine English) but I would have that as yerrhh

Concurr fully there! "Yarrr, EH!"

In AE that would typically be found of those having Scandanavian heritage, most typically upper midwesterners, where the BE or soft (ahh) pronuncitation would be followed immediately by you betcha, by golly. e.g. "Yahh, you betcha by golly!" ~(ref. The movie - Fargo! Which was entirely about Minnesotans.)

Wouldst thou spelling "Straine" maybe be BE, as similar to "Strange" in AE?

Default Kanoodle guy's not the only one...

I'm just as concerned about that rather stern looking blonde from goemerchant.com who is apparently under the impression that "I need more"

She doesn't fool me with her powerful 'Buy_me' buttons routine... my Mum warned me about girls like her!! :c)

Not in Canada - I've never heard anyone say "yarr" except you and that old salt on The Simpsons, when he said, "Yarr... I don't know what I'm doing..." as his boat sank.

Captain Highlander never even said yarr, but he did ask "Have ye been to sea Billy?"

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Paul, but she's not aiming those signals at you... it's pretty clear it's me she's making eyes at... ;-)

Minstrel humbly admitted:

I know that feeling. However, I have a new take on the 'double postings'. Here goes - If it's worth saying, it's worth saying twice. (Does not apply to guys with the word 'kanoodle' associated to them)

mikmik - the guy so nice, they named him twice.

That is THIS close to my longstanding motto, viz., "If it's funny once, it's funny forever"... I can't get my family and friends to accept it, though...

(and by "funny", I, of course, mean "ale")

And to call yourself mikmikmik would look a little too much like keyword stuffing...

By the way, unlike carbonize, you can't make the claim to being #1 on Google - you're actually #7 for mikmik... who'd-a-thunkit, eh?
